Thank You Webber International University

In February, I had the opportunity to speak to the Webber International University Softball Program in Babson Pk., Florida. On the way to this beautiful campus with a beautiful water view, I was surprised and delighted to see rows and rows and rows of orange trees. There seemed to be many different kinds of orange trees in the vast orchards. I was speechless for minutes. I wanted to pull over and walk among them. I know, “weird”. lol

Coach Kristy Burton and her teams, yes, I said teams (this school has a Varsity and a JV teams) were amazing. Afterwards, the players tried to teach me a new TikTok dance, although I wasn’t any good. lol. We grazed in that big room, practicing social distancing, somehow none of us wanting to leave the space. We laughed, carried on, danced, sang, talked…

Coach Burton was so gracious to donate $100 and take me to the cooolest brewery. We had some of the GREATEST food truck food I have ever had in my life. Like GOURMET. And Coach Burton picked out a “flight” of beer for me to try. We were joined by some awesome women coaches and up and coming stars in their field. SO DOPE
