Motivation, Talks, and Coaching

“What’s In Your Juice?”

There is so much inside each of us. We all have these beautiful abilities and gifts; each one working together; spun and blended together. When we tap into them, each, one by one or together in groups, we truly get closer to the fullness God intended for us all.

We ALL desire and deserve others to validate and cosign on our abilities. It can be damaging when we don’t receive or provide words that speak light into people and their gifts.

A mentor of mine once told me, “Steph, you’re LeBron, and you know he (LeBron) can’t be coached by just anybody.” A couple of years later another leader in my life said to me, “Steph, you know you got the juice right?! I don’t know why you act like you don’t.” These two comments, coming from people I respect, did more for me than any negative reinforcement I ever received.

So I thought, well if I GOT THE JUICE, I should know what the juice is. When someone says that another “got the juice” they recognize that you have respect, influence, power, authority, talent, skill, desirability, and an overall PUNCH of ELECTRICAL CURRENT. I believe we all carry that PUNCH inside of us. We are, each, a beautiful blend. That blend can produce a business that is profitable, so long as we know the method to the madness.

So, WHAT IS IN YOUR JUICE?

About Steph

Steph Wood is a dynamic Business and Ideation Coach, specializing in guiding entrepreneurs between the ages of 25 and 40 towards success. Her unwavering passion lies in empowering this demographic to excel in the world of business and ideation. With a diverse background encompassing her role as a former athlete, team coach, parent of a former athlete, accomplished businesswoman, and skill development coach, Steph offers a unique and invaluable perspective on achieving entrepreneurial success.

Steph’s impressive track record includes establishing over 55 thriving companies since 2013 and securing an impressive sum of over 6 million dollars in grant funds and awards for her clients throughout her illustrious career. Her life’s work has been dedicated to coaching, motivating, and guiding individuals within the entrepreneurial realm to reach their fullest potential.

In her twenties, Steph embarked on a journey as a Regional and National Basketball Clinician, traveling extensively across the United States and Canada. She dedicated herself to teaching basketball and honing the skills of the top 150 high school girls through prestigious programs like Nike® Skill Academies and Ganon Baker Basketball. Simultaneously, Steph achieved great success as a high school coach, earning two Coach of the Year Awards and clinching multiple conference championships.

This period marked the genesis of Steph’s foray into business management, where she played pivotal roles in sports management, marketing, administration, strategic planning, content development, and more. Her innate ability to build initiatives from the ground up led her to venture into eCommerce stores, well before the Shopify® phenomenon took off in 2006.

As she entered her thirties, Steph’s altruistic spirit led her to engage with the community through nonprofit initiatives such as “The Stronger Woman,” an initiative she spearheaded, as well as other local and regional charitable organizations. She created opportunities for growth and development within the entrepreneurial landscape while simultaneously making a positive impact on society.

Throughout her remarkable two-decade career in business and public speaking, Steph has influenced the lives of over 10,000 individuals. She has addressed audiences ranging from budding entrepreneurs within college programs, including West Georgia University, St. John’s River College, Daytona State College, Camp Community College, Webber International University, and Christopher Newport University, to young business enthusiasts across the United States and Canada, spanning states such as Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, California, Texas, South Carolina, New Jersey, and New York.

Steph prides herself on the work she has done in the kingdom of God and for minority led companies, initiatives, and nonprofits since the inception of her management career. In early 2019, Steph identified a growing need among these entrepreneurs, aged 25 to 40 — a need for guidance in building self-confidence and developing the business skills necessary for success.

She recognized that while many possess the drive and innovation to succeed, they often grapple with the psychological aspects of entrepreneurship and face real road blocks. Determined to make a difference, Steph initiated a program designed specifically for this demographic, one that addresses this crucial need and empowers entrepreneurs to cultivate the confidence and business tools essential for success as an entrepreneuer.

Steph embarked on the journey of certification, learning alongside CMI Leadership Coach, Dwight Riddick, and diligently crafted the program, drawing inspiration from her own experiences as an athlete, coach, and accomplished businesswoman. Her relentless dedication culminated in the creation of a transformative program, one that equips entrepreneurs aged 25 to 40 with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in the world of business and ideation.

What do they say?

“I felt a breakthrough on life from her talk to our team. She made me look at things from a different angle and perspective and sometimes I truly feel just buried under a lot and it felt like she dug me out. She came at the perfect time for my team and I because we really needed an eye opener about how to get through things together and that’s exactly what she did. She reminded me that no matter what I go through, I make myself my own person and what I went through doesn’t define me it just makes me my own unique soul. I will remember her speech forever.”

“When Steph Wood talked to my team and I, it really hit all of us. It also was perfect timing for my team, we were going through a rough patch and after her talk it was great. We came together as one and took what you said to heart. For me you taught me not to give up, when I’m down, don’t stop, keep going and show people what I’m made of. So thank you Steph Wood!”

“Steph Wood is a very inspirational person for me. She showed me how to always stay positive and work to pull myself out of a hole. She taught me that your life is what you make it, doesn’t matter where you come from. I will always remember her talk and use it throughout the rest of my life!”

“She was really good! I loved her backstory because it really showed how she overcame what she went through at a young age which I could relate to. I felt the message a lot because in one section she talked about competing with yourself instead of the team and just making yourself better before competing with someone else which I think is very important.”

“I thought she deliverd the perfect message at the perfect time. Especially because of how we’re trying to transform the mindset of this team coming in from last season. She changed the perspective for me and how I look at underdogs. Her message was straight to the point and was engaging the whole time. I really like her and would like to hear from her again in the future.”

“I really enjoyed Steph’s talk. I thought she brought a lot of energy and was very relatable to our current situation individually and collectively as a team. I think we can build off this and help our teams culture moving forward.”
